What is ChatGPT Plus?

ChatGPT Plus is a paid subscription to ChatGPT that costs $21.54 (incl. VAT) per month. It offers its users availability even in times of high demand, faster response times and preferential access to new features (e.g. GPT-4) and enhancements.

How can I subscribe to Plus?

  1. Create a free account directly with OpenAI (cell phone number required).
  2. Click on the "Go to Plus" option located in the lower right sidebar of the chat window.
  3. In the ChatGPT Plus menu that opens, select "Upgrade plan".
  4. A new window will open leading to Stripe, a secure payment provider.
  5. Enter your personal and credit card information here.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Click on "My account" in the sidebar of the chat window. Then click on "Manage my subscription" in the pop-up window. You will be taken to a Stripe page where you can select "Cancel plan". Your cancellation will take effect the day after your next billing date. You can continue to use the services until then. To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, please cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next billing date. Subscription fees are non-refundable.

What is the refund policy?

If you reside in the EU, UK or Turkey, you can request a refund if you cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase. To request a refund, please contact refunds@openai.com.

How can I apply for a VAT refund?

Send an email to customer-tax@openai.com with your billing information (name, email and billing address) and "VAT refund" in the subject line.

My account has been cancelled, can I get a refund?

If your account is terminated for non-compliance with the Terms of Use, you will continue to owe any unpaid fees and will not receive a refund of any remaining balance or prepaid services.

Where can I find my ChatGPT Plus invoice?

Receipts for credit purchases are sent to the email address you provided at the time of purchase. You can also view your invoices from the sidebar by clicking on "My account" and then "Manage my subscription".

Are there alternative payment options?

At the moment, we only accept credit card payments.
